MICROFIBER BOMBER FILLED

I have same model (WPL11590) for nearly 20 yrs. LOVE IT. Liner getting worn, but still wear it for snow, plowing, work, etc. It keeps me soooooo warm. Blue poly looks bit faded, and I dont use the lightweight hood, but the full, strong zippers, the very high quality snaps, and so many pockets are awesome. I dont think new one (for over $225) is as good, but the Weatherproof brand is what I appreciate. I think it was time to get another one. Probably my last one. I am good with that. My original was made in Vietnam, interesting.

This bomber jacket is nicer looking than all of the plastic looking jackets out there. My husband has one that is about twenty years old. He loves it, but it has faded over time. I ordered another one but will have to exchange it for a smaller size since it is quite bulky.

Like another reviewer, I've found that my new bomber, although I like it, is not the same quality as my first one bought probably 10 yrs. ago. Not as comfortable. Pockets no longer have zippers. Pocket liner different material. If the color at the edges of the pockets hadn't faded I'd still be wearing the first one.

My husband had a Weatherproof jacket for years and years. The zipper just broke recently and while it still had a lot of life left, I decided to try and replace it with a new one. I will say the new one has a different type fabric and not quite the quality of the first one. It also ran extremely small. I ordered a large and had to return for an XL. My husband is not that large of a man and I've never purchased him an XL in any item before. But, he seems to like it. We haven't yet received the XL replacement, but I'm sure it will be here within the next few weeks.
